So large in size and bold in design is this finely handwrought sterling silver and malachite brutalist pendant necklace with abstract floral shape by T.H. Kaufman, circa 1970s.
The Studio Jewelry statement piece consists of a handmade sterling silver chain link necklace with high dimensional sculptural flower shaped pendant portion, featuring curved petals and bezel set with a large green malachite cab, measuring approximately 35mm wide.
The pendant itself measures 2&1/4 inches across, while the chain in its entirety (with pendant) measures approximately 26 inches around and has no closure, so that it slides over the head.
It weighs a hefty 106.3 grams and is marked “T.H. Kaufman”, “Handwrought” and “Sterling”.
